When does a coin go from a piece of stamped metal to an act of faith? And how did gold in Ghana go fro...

Our stories go deep into the basement of The Met, and back in time to a waterlogge...

thoughtful and astounding -- wonderful to see this separated by an ocean
There are a few places in our world's timeline which i sincerely wish i could be present. This exhibition is one of those times. Garments and fheir curstion is something which is very close to my heart. I still have my grandmother's wedding sari from 1940 amongst other things. I convey my heartfelt regards and thanks to the MET and Mr. Bolton for this insightful and amazing video. Best wishes and congratulations for the successful exhibition. Love from India.
Videos like this need to be released before the Met Gala.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would love to see some of the more modern dresses in the photographs of the models who surely modeled them, when they were first presented. Absolutely beautiful! Thank you!
🙏👏👏👏
That was so interesting. What wonderful work. Not aure why the "glue" had to be reversible. W/O it you have garbage...
Fascinating. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning thank you for sharing. Wish I could see it in person
Magnificent !!! Love the narrative
Thank you so much for sharing! Unfortunately I won't get a chance to see this exhibition. It would be fantastic if you could add subtitles in other languages apart from English. I really would like to share this video with those who don't speak English. Thanks anyway.
I really enjoyed this.
Meh
16:31 duh
Can i say something: i like urfi javed's version of this dress than this😂
سبحان الله كيف زمان الفلاحين كانو مرتبين وشكلهم راقي ورشيقين ، هلا دشاديش ونقاب ملفلفة وسخين و مبهدلين .
Such beauty! What immense talent! Wish I could visit. Thank you for sharing this video with us. ❤❤❤
Spectacular imagery, I only wish the slides didn’t pass so quickly. There are so many interesting details to devour!
Yes please, a full length doco would be great for the bulk of us around the world who won't see it in person. So beautiful, so much to learn. I guess there'll be a coffee table book? Also costly, but at least libraries might be encouraged to buy it.
Wowzy!!!!! My favorite: anything Petite Floral with Capped sleeves. Wonderful! Wonderful!!
😴
Thank you 🕊🇺🇲💕
Seeing all of these precious creations just reminded me how creative poor this designers are nowadays. They had all the money but zero creativity in the Met ball .
i love this...
❤❤❤
The mermaid bride was breath taking

Incorrectly pronounced "Thebe". But so incredible to see the show. Even virtually

This is what fashion should be! Not a splatter of the paint, then call it a day.
incredible!
This was quite nice. Very interesting and informative.
There were no Brahmins during the Buddha and there was no caste system during the #Buddha. Kindly go through the latest research and archeological proofs. Brahmins came to #India in the 7th Cen AD.
